Wisconsin's controversial radical leftist, Kirk Bangstad, owner of the Minocqua Brewing Company has organized a twelve city Get Out the Vote (GOTV) tour starting September 10th to recruit volunteers to help Harris-Walz get elected. This tour is coinciding with the release of their seasonal festbier called "Antifa Oktoberfist".
Bangstad is known for his anti-Trump billboards, beer and sparkling water that showcase leftist radical "heroes" and slogans, and his Minocqua Brewing Company Super PAC which he utilizes for far left political activism, namely lawsuits and billboards. While five percent of the proceeds of beverages sold go to Bangstad's Super PAC the rest of the PAC's funds come from donations. The Super PAC which was started in January, 2021 averages only 22% of donations from Wisconsin, an average of 75.4% of donations are $200 & under, and an average of 20.25% come from unemployed and retired donors per FEC filings.
Two of the largest progressive organizations in Wisconsin, Planned Parenthood of WI and Citizens Action of WI, are "anchor partners" on the volunteer recruitment tour along with various musicians that will be part of the entertainment at the tour venues. Pro-Kamala billboards have already gone up in ten of the twelve cities on the radical anti-Trump GOTV tour. The below billboard is on U.S. Hwy 41 by Oshkosh, WI one of the twelve tour cities.
Through his Super PAC Bangstad has sued to try to keep President Trump off of Wisconsin's ballot, the case was rightly dismissed and late last year sued with the help of Marc Elias' law firm Perkins Coie to end the private school voucher system in Wisconsin, fortunately that case was rejected by the Wisconsin Supreme Court even with its liberal majority. He's been at a fever pitch complaining about the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings on Presidential Immunity, the reversal of Roe v. Wade, and the reversal of the Chevron Doctrine being "harmful decisions".
Apparently Bangstad has drank too many of his radical brews, as he's a huge fan of Saul Alinsky's, "Rules for Radicals" which he thinks is, "a guidebook for how to use grass roots radicalism to beat back Fascism, authoritarianism, and all the other awful "isms" that currently plague our country." He says of Project 2025, "This list of dystopian policies should strike fear into the heart of every American" and wrongly ties President Trump to it even though Trump has strongly disavowed Project 2025 several times.Â
This twelve city tour is a highly organized effort and Bangstad is well connected, so this GOTV tour needs to be taken seriously. Let's counter this with Trump billboards and a huge sign campaign along with a doubling down of our MAGA GOTV efforts here in Wisconsin to Swamp the Vote for President Trump!Â
